The Johnston Center's facilities are available to the entire campus community. Priority is given to events with a strong connection to the University's mission of undergraduate education. The normal operating hours of the Johnston Center are MTWR 7:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m. and F 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (During summer sessions, the Johnston Center operates M-F 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) The Johnston Center is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, except in the case of a special event. For information about specific rooms, click on the name of the event space. You may request an event space reservation in Graham Memorial by submitting the Graham Memorial Reservation Request Form (Note: You will first need to confirm that you have read the Use Policy). Please note: Events scheduled outside of normal operating hours for either building require a minimum of THREE WEEKS' notice for reservation. Events scheduled during normal operating hours may be scheduled as little as two weeks before the event. Cancellation Policy for the James M. Johnston Center: Events scheduled during normal operating hours require 72 hours' (three days') notice for cancellation. Events canceled after this deadline has passed will incur all fees. Events scheduled outside of normal operating hours require three weeks' notice for cancellation. Events canceled after that deadline will incur all fees. Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence in Graham Memorial, followed by the room name and/or number in Graham Memorial. Any advertisement or publicity for an event occurring in the Johnston Center must be approved by the Director, Associate Dean James Leloudis (222 Graham Memorial, CB# 3510), prior to its circulation. Such materials should be submitted to his office well in advance. If you serve food at your event, or if the event is catered and clean-up is not included in the catering contract, clean-up is your responsibility. All trash should be put in the large, lidded garbage can located outside the back of room 039 (in the service entrance to the kitchen, near the stairwell). |
